You don\u2019t need to be an expert or specialist to provide competent care for the most common orthopedic conditions. NOMA will help you help your patients more effectively and generate more revenue for your business. This Hands-On Workshop will include 6 hours of CE focused on diagnosis, management, and treatment of common orthopedic conditions in the knee and shoulder.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Learning Objectives:\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Exam and diagnostics for common knee and shoulder conditions<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Ultrasound imaging intro\u00a0for common knee and shoulder conditions<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Joint injections and needle techniques\u00a0for common knee and shoulder conditions<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Instructors<\/strong>:<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>-Samuel G Oltman, ND, RMSK (President of NOMA)<\/div>\n<div>-Terrance Manning II, ND, RMSK (Vice-President of NOMA)<\/div>\n<div>-Noel Peterson, ND, DAAPM<\/div>\n<div>-Patrick Chapman, ND<\/div>\n<div>-Calvin Kwan, ND<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Cost<\/strong>: $400<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Curriculum will focus on knowledge and skills critical for the PCP, not just the orthopedic specialist. Participants will leave the workshop with a firm grasp on how to workup a patient from a simple CC of \u201cpain in the knee\/shoulder,\u201d through exam, imaging, and income-generating treatments.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The day will be split into halves, 3 hours on the knee and 3 hours on the shoulder, with an hour lunch in the middle (included in the cost of the course). Participants will rotate between stations covering the various skill sets and finish each block with a case review.<\/div>\n<div><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong>Stations will include:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Physical Exam and History<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; X-ray and MRI findings and indications<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Hands-On Intro to In-Office Ultrasound imaging<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Manual modalities<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Injection modalities<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; The entire group comes together for a case review to integrate everything<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The workshop will be operated by NOMA\u2019s highly regarded, experienced faculty, offering a taste of what our in-depth, weekend-long workshops offer.
